The Effects of Core Stability Exercise in Improving Back Muscle Strength, Limb Muscles and Dynamic Balance in the Elderly in Singaraja, Indonesia

چکیده
Balance disorders are a severe problem for the elderly. Exercise that can increase power of back muscles, leg muscles and dynamic balance is physical exercise in core stability (CSE). This study aimed to analyse exercise's effect on increasing muscle strength, Fifty-six elderly people aged 60-70 years were selected by simple random sampling as sample this study. The program was given CSE (n: 28) four weeks intervention group. strength measured using Back-leg dynamometer measurement Time Up Go Test (TUGT). T-test Mann-Whitney analyses used compare results before after intervention. different tests between control group obtained p-value 0.001, meaning an existed. proved effectively increased It suggested analyze effectiveness based characteristics respondents.
